Ypres Remembered

A Three Day Tour of Ypres
TestimonialsContact UsUpcoming tour dates

The Ypres battlefield tour visits sites which cover events from 1914 to 1918. These sites include some of the most moving on the old Western Front and leave a powerful impression on all who visit them. The tour visits selected sites, but you will see a wide area of the Ypres Salient which witnessed fighting.
Ypres RememberedNearly 250,000 British soldiers were killed in the Ypres Salient during the First World War, almost a third of all of those killed in the war. The mud of Passchendaele (the Third battle of Ypres) has probably become the most powerful image of World War 1. Ypres saw the first gas attack; gas attacks have been immortalised in the poetry of Wilfred Owen.
